In five weeks, your dog will see another dog on the street and look at you instead of exploding. That's not a hope — it's what happens when you fix the behaviour, not just manage the symptoms.
Five weeks. Five one-to-one sessions. All in your environment — not a training hall. We start in controlled settings and progressively increase the pressure until your dog holds it together in the situations that used to set them off.
We start in a controlled environment where I can see exactly how your dog responds to triggers. I build the communication between you and your dog from the ground up — calm leash handling, engagement, and the groundwork that everything else sits on. No treats, no toys. You become the reward.
Once the foundation is solid, we start increasing the environmental pressure. Busier parks, more distractions, closer proximity to other dogs. Each session is structured so your dog learns to stay neutral rather than react. We fix whatever comes up in real-time.
Towns, cafes, pubs, busy streets — the places you've been avoiding. Your dog learns to hold it together in the environments that actually matter to your life. This is where the real confidence comes from, for both of you.
By the end, your dog is calm, neutral, and balanced no matter the environment. Treats and toys become redundant because you are the main reward — the leader your dog actually needs. We make sure you know how to maintain everything so the results hold long after the programme ends.

"Such a great experience with Dan. Our dog used to bite and we couldn't even take her on a walk, which was very stressful. Since working with Dan we have seen a huge difference — our dog is much calmer and we are now able to take her for a walk, which is honestly something we never thought we would see."
Dog went from biting to calm walks

"I can't recommend Dan at Aesir Training K9 highly enough. We went to him with what I thought was a reactive dog, and within a single session things completely shifted. The biggest realisation was that the issue wasn't really the dog at all — it was me. He's calm, knowledgeable, and very straight to the point."
Shifted perspective in one session

"HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I have a very reactive dog — he has previously bitten, doesn't like people and can be reactive to dogs. We had been to other trainers and took their advice and his behaviour got worse. My dog's behaviour has vastly improved using the advice from Dan and the 1-2-1 training sessions."
Vast improvement after other trainers failed

"I will 100% recommend Dan to all my friends and everyone that needs a dog trainer — he's absolutely saved me with my dog. She was always pulling and trying to lunge at people and other dogs. She's now so happy on walks and even goes off lead!"
Now walks off lead — lunging completely resolved

Book a free consultation and I'll tell you. If your dog is lunging, barking, snapping, or showing aggression toward other dogs or people, this is almost certainly the right fit. If they just need basic obedience, I'll point you toward my Obedience & Engagement programme instead. I'm not going to sell you something you don't need.
I work with all breeds, but the majority of dogs I see are German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Rottweilers, and other working and guardian breeds. These dogs need a handler who understands drive and threshold — not someone who's going to wave treats at them and hope for the best. The programme is tailored to your dog's breed, temperament, and specific triggers.
Because they create dependency, not real behaviour change. A dog that only listens when there's a treat in your hand hasn't actually learned anything — they've learned to do a transaction. My approach makes you the reward. Your dog follows your lead because they trust you and see you as their leader, not because they're chasing a biscuit.
Most trainers teach obedience — sit, stay, heel. That's fine if your dog just needs manners. But if your dog is reactive or aggressive, obedience isn't the answer. Behaviour is. I work with the root cause of the reactivity, not just the symptoms. And I do it in the real world, not in a sterile training environment where everything is controlled.
You don't just get dropped. There's a post-programme follow-up to make sure the results are holding, and you'll still have WhatsApp access to me. If something comes up three months down the line, message me. I'd rather spend five minutes helping you maintain the progress than have you undo weeks of work.
If you attend all sessions, complete the homework, and don't see a marked improvement — I'll give you an additional session at no charge. If you're still not satisfied after that, I'll refund your investment in full. I can offer this because in every case I've taken on, the dog has improved.
Yes. A significant number of the dogs I work with have bitten before. That's exactly the kind of case this programme is designed for. The muzzle in the equipment package isn't there for show — it's a practical tool that keeps everyone safe while we do the work.
The consultation is free. The conversation is honest. And if I think I can help, I'll tell you exactly what that looks like.
